InNovember 16, 2000, fifteen years ago, five lawyers in Hangzhou held their handstightly together and left a precious black and white photo. They were QuKuanhai, director of Jiangnan Law firm, Lu Youjiang, director of Xin Dalu LawFirm, He Liming, director of Tiandu Law Firm, Wu Baojian, director of TianfangLaw Firm and Tong Songqing, director of Song Qing Law Firm. These five ‘captains’,together with the dream of making the industry aircraft carrier, nailed thesefive boats together on this day, gathered Wulian people, the historiccompletion of the five Lawyer Firms' consolidation plan, and establishedZhejiang Wulian Law Firm. From this day, Wulian people proudly took the firststep in their practice and exploration of "making Wulian bigger andstronger".

Lookingback, it is precisely because the Wulian people did not indulge in happinesswhen they were in a favorable situation, but always wondered how to make a newbreakthrough. At the time of the flood of internal and external troubles, theynever give up, but always groped out of the swamp with mutual encouragement.Adhering to the practice philosophy of "following the laws, safeguardingthe interests of customers, shouldering social responsibilities and drawing onthe strengths of the public", Wulian has been providing high-quality,efficient, professional and sincere legal services to customers, activelyexpanding the service field, extending the service content and continuouslyimproving the service quality. There were about thirty lawyers at the beginningof the establishment, and now, we have about hundred lawyers; at the beginningof the establishment of the revenue from the millions of yuan to leap to thepresent fifty million yuan, the office space is built from the beginning of thefive hundred square meters to two thousand square meters which is its ownproperty, and for many years won the dozens of national and provincial andmunicipal honor.

Inorder to celebrate this special festival, Wulian Law Firm held a ‘fifteenthanniversary’ celebration on November 20, presided over by the chief lawyer zhouchun. Fang shaoqing, former deputy director of Hangzhou Municipal Bureau ofJustice and party secretary of Hangzhou Lawyer Association, attended theceremony. Lawyer Zhou introduced the history and achievements of Wulian theseyears. And then senior partner Qu Kuanhai, Lu Youjiang, Wu Baojian, He Liming,Zhang Jun held their hands again, and recalled the past, expressed thanks tothe Wulian Law Firm, and particularly expressed their gratitude for thedirector Fang’s help at the establishing and growth of the Wulian Law firm. Theyalso wished the future of Wulian. At the same time, every member recalled allthe things with Wulian, and felt the same way with senior partner’s speeches.All sorts of feelings well up in their mind. The atmosphere of the celebrationwas very high, and the audience burst into thunderous applause.

Althoughthere will still be trials and troubles in the development of the Wulian LawFirm in the next 15 years, the development road will certainly be broader. Wulianpeople will never stop fighting to achieve the goal of ‘bigger and stronger’.

BRIEFHISTORY OF WULIAN:

In1992, the first partnership law firm in Zhejiang Province, Jiangnan Law Firm(predecessor of Wulian), was set up;

Since1995, Xindalu, Tianfang, Tiandu, and Songqing law Firm (predecessors of Wulian)were successively established;  

In2000, Jiangnan, Xindalu, Tianfang, Tiandu, and Songqing law firm wereamalgamated into Zhejiang Wulian LawFirm;

In2003, Wulian was awarded as“Zhejiang Provincial Civilized Law Firm”;

In2004, Yingzhijie Law Firm joined in Wulian;

In2004, Chengda Law Firm joined in Wulian;

In2006, Wulian cross-regionally founded Yiwu-based Sub-office;

In2007, Wulian performed the cross-industrial construction and establishedHangzhou Wulian Certified Tax Agents LTD.;

In2008, Wulian purchased and relocated on Floor 6 of Diamond Office Building inHangzhou, covering an area of 2,000sq.m., enabling Wulian the law firm with thelargest self-owned assets in Zhejiang;
